Terms of Service
Last updated: September 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating a Sysvia account, downloading or using the Sysvia software, or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Sysvia.
2. What Sysvia is
Sysvia is desktop software that syncs files, shares a clipboard, and shares a keyboard and mouse between computers you own or are authorized to use, over your local network. The website provides account management, licensing, and support.
3. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. License
Subject to these terms and payment of any applicable fee, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Sysvia on devices you own or control. Your license is tied to your account. You may not resell, sublicense, or share your license with others.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Sysvia to access, control, or copy data from computers or networks you do not own or have permission to use.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the software, except where the law or a third-party open-source license allows it.
- Interfere with or attempt to overload our website, accounts, or services.
- Use Sysvia for anything unlawful.
6. Purchases
Prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by our payment provider. If you have a problem with a purchase, please reach out through our contact page and we will work with you to resolve it.
7. Open-source components
Sysvia includes open-source software that is licensed under its own terms. Those licenses apply to those components, and nothing in these terms limits your rights under them.
8. Ownership
Sysvia, its branding, and its website are owned by us and our licensors. Your files and data remain yours; we claim no rights to them. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Sysvia without obligation to you.
9. Disclaimer
Sysvia is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Software that moves files and controls computers can behave in unexpected ways, so please keep backups of important data.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sysvia and its owners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of Sysvia. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Sysvia in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Sysvia and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use Sysvia after changes take effect means you accept them.
